2012 Royalty crowned on Saturday 25th August

Miss Jessica Mattner was crowned the 57th Tweed Valley Banana Festival Queen on Saturday 25th August.
She is joined by her entourage
2012 Charity Queen Elizabeth Davis who raised $8 360.58 for her chosen charity The Murwillumbah Hospital Rehabilitation Ward.

The 2012 TWEED VALLEY BANANA FESTIVAL is well under way with our theme "Favourite classic TV shows"creating some wonderful ideas for floats and window displays.

Here we will crown our 2012 Charity Queen. Our Charity Queen is the Queen candidate who raises the most funds for her charity.

SATURDAY 25th August - IGA and the Bray Park Fuel & Mechanical Tweed Valley Banana Festival Street Parade and the JJ Richards & sons Family Fun Day.
The Street Parade starts at 12 noon from Murwillumbah Showgrounds and ends at Knox Park Wollumbin Street Murwillumbah where the Family Fun Day will take place.
During the Family Fun Day, on the Main Stage, we will crown all our 2012 Royalty starting with the Prince and Princesses, Teen Queen and then we will present our 2012 Charity Queen and crown our 2012 Miss Personality and finally the 2012 Tweed Valley Banana Festival Queen.

The 2012 Tweed Valley Banana Festival with regret informs the public of the CANCELLATION of the Tweed River Spectacular event, which was to be held on Sunday 19th August.
Due to unforseen circumstance the organisers of this event have had to cancel the program. 19/07/12.

The Starlight Riders are a group of Harley Davidson enthusiasts consisting of members from TCAMC (Tweed Coast American Motorbike Club) the Daytona power sports and the Aussie Post Harley Owners, who raise money NOT only for the Starlight Foundation but also for our local Palliative Care.
The Riders will be leading the IGA & Bray Park Fuel and Mechanical Street Parade this year and then they will be on display for everyone to come and see in the Knox Park car park.
Our 2012 chaperones will be riding through the parade on the bikes this year.
